Chiang Rai Parents told to Safeguard their children against HFMD

Chiang Rai – The Department of Disease Control (DDC) reported more than 30,000 children in Thailand that have been diagnosed with Hand Foot & Mouth Disease (HFMD) this year during the period between the rainy season and winter. Out of the 30,000 cases, 3 were fatal.

Due to this huge number and rise in HFMD cases, DDC urged parents and childcare centers to safeguard their children against infection by ensuring hygiene and seeking medical attention if HFMD symptoms are present.
